ANTALYA
Half-day tour to the inland city Termessos, which is situated behind the plateau of Antalya. This city is located on the Mount of Güllük which is 1050 m. above the sea level and once was the house of Psidians. The city itself was very defensive because of the high altitude of its location. The vast ruins of the Roman and Hellenistic ages are worthy to visit. The Theatre, Odeon, Necropolis, Corinthian Temple, Water Cisterns, and Hereon Monuments are the most remarkable structures of the ancient Termessos. After visiting the site, the tour will end at Düden Waterfalls, which is the highest falls in the region.
The ruined city of Termessos, lying 34km west of Antalya, in a rugged mountain valley, was founded by the Solymi people, from the interior of Anatolia, the walled city of Termessos defied even Alexander the Great in 333 BC.
Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya. The waterfall formed by the Düden River, is located 12km northeast of Antalya; which ends where the limpid waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea.
